We have asked people in leadership positions across our towns to share 3 areas where they need help - we have told them that Christians across the area will be praying, so please give time as an individual or in your church services to talk with God about these issues. Each month we will put up a new set of prayer requests, but the ones from earlier months will be available under "previous posts"

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour..." (1 Timothy 2:1-3, NIVUK)

Debbie Fleming – CEO of Poole Hospital and the RBCH NHS Foundation Trust

Debbie Fleming is the Chief Executive of both Poole Hospital and The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Both Trusts are dealing with a wide range of operational pressures associated with Covid-19; Debbie said that she is both touched and so very grateful to be asked about how we churches can pray.

They would appreciate prayers for the following, please:

  • For all the poorly patients currently under our care – and that they continue to receive a high-quality and compassionate service
  • For all of our staff – who have remained hugely professional during these very challenging times
  • For resilience – that the people of Dorset and surrounding areas have the strength and courage to ‘keep going’
